Ranna I. Parekh, M.D., is currently a child/adolescent/adult psychiatrist who practices at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, both Harvard Medical School affiliates.

Since 2002, Dr. Parekh has worked as a director for Watershed Associates, a Washington, D.C.-based negotiations consulting firm, which serves Fortune 1000 clients. She specializes in collaborative negotiations and emotionally charged negotiations; her clients include NASA, Chevron, and Merck. Dr. Parekh has traveled extensively and has practiced psychiatry in such places as Australia and New Zealand. Dr. Parekh is the Chairperson for the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry's Diversity Committee.

In addition, Dr. Parekh is chairperson for the Boston Rotary Club's Ambassadorial Scholarship committee and chairperson of Rotary District 7930's International Group Study Exchange program. Dr. Parekh earned a B.A in Chemistry,BSc. in Biology with a comajor in Black Studies, and M.D. degrees from Wayne State University. She also has a M.P.H. degree, with a special concentration in international health, from the Harvard School of Public Health.
