ABOUT US

The Levinson Institute was founded in 1968 by Harvard Business School professor Harry Levinson, Ph.D., the groundbreaking management psychologist.  Pioneering the study of the psychological aspects of management in the workplace, Dr. Levinson developed practical, real-world approaches to leadership through a variety of widely acclaimed executive seminars and programs.  Since then, the Institute has helped develop two generations of business and government leaders become more adaptive, competitive, productive, and successful.

Gerald A. Kraines, M.D., CEO of the Levinson Institute and faculty member at Harvard Medical School, has successfully integrated the leadership-development work of Dr. Levinson and the organizational-leadership work of the late Elliott Jaques, M.D.  As a result, more than 45,000 CEOs and senior managers have attended Institute seminars, which offer what is regarded as one of the most important leadership-development curriculums in the world.  Time-tested principles, presented in dynamic fashion, deliver a complete road map for successful managers to lead effectively and build successful organizations consistent with their business strategies.

Over the past 20 years, The Levinson Institute has developed a unique and powerful set of management-consulting services, helping scores of business organizations to improve their productivity, profitability, and ability to accountably deliver strategy.  The Levinson Institute, widely acclaimed for leadership development, is now one of the foremost authorities in developing world-class leadership systems in companies around the world.
